Total rebuild on foundations of a 1930’s asbestos clad, timber frame bungalow, using recycled and local timber, Warmcell insulation, recycled slates and a south facing conservatory. Passive Solar design means the house is heated using solar hot water and just one woodstove. It has solar photovoltaic panels for electricity. Rainwater is collected for use in the house and garden and a reed bed is used for grey water recycling.

14.3999996185303px; line-height: 19.439998626709px;">Travel: Nearest bus stop is by the funeral directors at the bottom of Thonhill lane. Your SatNav might not be that useful as the house has the same postcode as a nearby village. Springwoods is on Water Lane, an unmade road 200 yards up Thornhill Lane across the railway bridge, on your right. It is on the same road as Bamford Quaker Community (which is open at the same times), 14.3999996185303px; line-height: 19.439998626709px;">approximately 400 yards to the west. The pointer on the website's map is not that accurate.
